As someone who believes in researching before writing, I did watch Babygirl on 440p in parts on Dailymotion (and yes, it was a handheld recording of the IMAX screen). For those of you who’ve somehow managed to avoid a single frame of the movie and have no idea what it’s about, let me give you a brief:

Nicole Kidman = old and hot

Harris Dickinson = young and hot

2 hot people = fornication ✨

But super illegal fornication because Kidman is the CEO and Dickinson joins her company as an intern. Oh and she also has a family but who wants to waste writing space talking about an average looking husband and 2 mean teenagers?

Listen, supporting women’s wrongs is my passion, especially if the woman is a 57 year old white woman with all the gays in the world behind her. And so you shouldn’t be shocked to know that I agree with BiggDope with every fiber of my being

Holding space for Kidman

When I’m old and regretting never having drunk enough water, I will tell myself that a younger version of me hoped to serve Nicole Kidman in a drama thriller show. Be it long coats, the wind in my long coats, hair, the wind in my hair, and insanely deep trauma-rooted female friendships. Basically, rich and depressed in a cunty way.

But what’s the lore about? What effect did she have on me that warrants an entire post?

Was it Big Little Lies?

Was it Nine Perfect Strangers?

Was it The Perfect Couple? (No.)

Or

Was it these pictures of her post divorcing Tom Cruise?

Yeah you know what guys, I think it’s the limby hands- they’re really doing something to me.

Keith Urban is the luckiest guy in the world

It’s a well-known fact that Kidman is thriving and is in no hurry to stop working on projects anytime soon. I cannot sit here and comment on the astounding body of work she has accumulated over the years and how each character of hers is perfect in every sense of the word. I am not that writer. Maybe once I reach that level of knowledge, I might be, but not today.
